Still Searching for Blogging Purposes

I just looked through some random blogs aaaaaaaaand........I was right. They're stupid. One was called Mel's Musings, another Steve's Adventures in Cleveland, etc. They all started with something like, "Today I did..." as if I care about your boring mundane life and all the boring mundane things that happen in it.

Does that make me a hypocrite if I write critically about people writing dumb things? If I write something stupid about something else written that was stupid, am I really just the pot calling the kettle black?

Once again, the purpose and intent of this blog is lost on me. Yet I still write.

So I started a blog, now what?

I finally caved. I started a blog. I'm not sure why I did it, and I'm probably the only one who is going to read this. And I'm sure that I don't want to read pretty much anybody else's blog either. They're probably all stupid things like "that one boy in my science class is really cute" or "I just made the soccor team!" or other lame things like that. But here I am.

I guess it started when we watched Julie and Julia. She kept a blog recording her thoughts on cooking Julia Child's recipes. That was a pretty meaningful blog, if mediocre movie. I thought I could do something like that. Except I don't cook.

So, now what?
